Neuroimaging and Stimulation



Our mission is to identify and characterize pathologies of both the central and peripheral human nervous system by advanced magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), particularly diffusion-weighted and functional imaging. We focus on translational approaches, with the aim to be able to directly connect pathology-related changes observed by advanced MRI with therapeutic approaches in the clinical setting. The application of advanced MRI to guide and facilitate non-invasive neurostimulation during multi-modal approaches (e.g., combination of MRI with transcranial stimulation techniques) complements our efforts.
