Multiple Sklerose


 

Kurzbeschreibung

Ziel ist die Verbesserung der bildgebenden Diagnostik mittels MRT bei multipler Sklerose (MS) und verwandten entzündlichen Erkrankungen des zentralen Nervensystems. Es werden neue Sequenzen zur verbesserten Bildgebung der MS evaluiert und optimiert. Ferner werden Techniken der automatischen Segmentierung weiterentwickelt, um quantitative Daten über die Läsionslast zu erhalten. Auch werden die veränderten Netzwerkstrukturen im Rahmen von chronisch-entzündlichen Erkrankungen analysiert und neue Methoden zum maschinellen Lernen und zur strukturierten Befundung implementiert.
